Job summary

Peters Heat Treating in Meadville, PA is seeking a General Helper to support heat treat processors daily. You will assist with sandblasting, handling materials, fixturing parts, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

The role requires reliability, the ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to work a night shift in an in-person setting. Prior shop experience and physical stamina are valued, with safety and quality always in focus.

Qualifications

• Must communicate with coworkers and customers professionally to maintain a good team effort.
• Detail oriented and ensures quality of work.
• Able to work effectively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to follow procedures and produce reliable repeatable work.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand 8+ hours.
• Willing and able to work in hot and/or cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist heat treat processors on a daily basis.
• Sandblasting as required.
• Handle customer materials and fixturing parts for processing.
• Maintain plant housekeeping and safety.
