Job summary

TEAM, Inc. seeks motivated Heat-Treating Assistants to support PWHT and related thermal processes at job sites and in-shop environments.

This entry‑level role works with certified heat treat technicians to set up, monitor, and break down equipment used for controlled heating of materials—primarily pressure vessels, piping, structural components, and weld zones. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and obtain site credentials (TWIC/DISA).
• Willingness to travel and work extended shifts; ability to work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist setup, operation, and breakdown of heat‑treating equipment.
• Clean and prepare components for heat treatment following safety and client specifications.
• Lay out and secure insulation, heating elements, and monitoring hardware on piping, vessels, or weld zones.
• Monitor temperature controllers and data recorders to support certified technicians during operations.
• Travel to client sites as required, sometimes for extended assignments or turnaround schedules.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain tools, equipment in safe, working condition.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.
