Job summary

Peters Heat Treating in Meadville, PA is seeking a General Helper to support heat treat processors daily. You will assist with sandblasting, handling materials, fixturing parts, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

The role requires reliability, the ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to work a night shift in an in-person setting. Prior shop experience and physical stamina are valued, with safety and quality always in focus.

Qualifications

• Must communicate with coworkers and customers professionally to maintain a good team effort.
• Detail oriented and ensures quality of work.
• Able to work effectively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to follow procedures and produce reliable repeatable work.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand 8+ hours.

The General Helper is responsible for providing support to heat treat processors on a daily basis. This job may include but is not limited to sandblasting, handling customer materials, fixturing parts for processing and plant housekeeping. It is pertinent that the applicant is able to follow instructions and that he/she is consistent, accurate, and detail oriented.
