Jetson is seeking a skilled Heat Pump Warranty Technician in Centennial, CO. This is a non-selling, technical-focused role with on-site work and overtime during peak seasons.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and support residential heat pump systems, ensuring performance meets Jetson’s high standards. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HVAC/heat pump service, EPA Type II or Universal certification, strong diagnostics, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC or heat pump service technician.
• In-depth knowledge of heat pump systems, controls, and commissioning.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) required.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• A valid driver's license for travel to job sites.
• Follows OSHA Electrical Standard and LOTO safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues with heat pumps and related HVAC systems.
• Conduct on-site walkthroughs of complex or high-priority installations to ensure proper setup and operation.
• Provide detailed technical assessments and feedback to installation teams, project managers, and engineering staff.
• Verify system functionality, airflow, and refrigerant performance; document findings in field reports.
• Support training efforts by identifying recurring installation challenges or best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to spec.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and uphold safety and quality standards.
