Job summary

Jetson Home Inc. is seeking a skilled Heat Pump Warranty Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and support residential heat pump systems. This is a non‑selling, technical role focused on performance and quality.

You will perform system diagnostics, onsite walkthroughs of complex installations, and provide field insights to improve processes and training. Some overtime may be required during peak heating and cooling seasons.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC or heat pump service technician.
• In-depth knowledge of heat pump systems, controls, and commissioning.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot heat pumps and related HVAC systems.
• Conduct onsite walkthroughs of installations to ensure proper setup and operation.
• Provide detailed technical assessments to installation teams, project managers, and engineering staff.
• Verify system functionality, airflow, and refrigerant performance; document findings in field reports.
• Support training by identifying recurring installation challenges or best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure safe, efficient, and to-spec work.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Overtime may be required during peak heating and cooling seasons.
