Job summary

White Oak Medical Center in Maryland seeks an experienced Patient Care Technician for our Heart and Vascular Unit who will assist with nursing care, perform vital signs and activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and help maintain a safe healing environment. The ideal candidate holds a Maryland CNA license, has completed a CNA program, and is BLS certified.

This full-time role is 36 hrs/week, with 3 twelve-hour day shifts, weekends, and holiday rotation; strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Complete CNA program and pass CNA exam.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• English language proficiency (spoken and written).
• Physical ability for lifting, bending, turning.
• Acute care clinical experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plan established by the Registered Nurse.
• Ensure safety and maintain a clean, stocked work area.
• Participate in education programs, meetings, and initiatives.
• Contribute to professional development and teamwork.
