Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with instructional materials and student support.
• Provide expressive and manual communication for hearing-impaired students as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and progress discussions.
• Provide interpreting for extracurricular activities and parent meetings when necessary.
• Orient students and staff to deafness and communication strategies.
• Perform duties as assigned by principals and supervisor.
