Job summary

Sorenson Communications seeks a caring, customer service oriented Installer/Trainer to train customers in using CaptionCall phones in their homes. This part‑time role offers flexibility and potential for growth, with travel required to customer sites and events.

The position emphasizes training on device features, promoting CaptionCall services, and building referrals while maintaining equipment inventory and customer records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Sales experience is preferred.
• Experience in the hearing health field beneficial.
• Experience working with senior citizens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones.
• Courteously train customers on how to use the phone and its features.
• Promote the CaptionCall service.
• Create lead generation activities and generate referrals.
• Attend and participate in trade shows and other corporate events as assigned.
• Recruit and refer potential Installer/Trainer candidates to aid and support local installations and events.
• Complete service calls and maintain customer records.
• Submit invoices and feedback on customer interactions.
• Maintain adequate inventory of equipment and supplies for service.
