Job summary

Sonova's AudioNova unit in Redding, CA is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator. The HCC works with clinical staff to ensure patients receive quality care, schedule appointments, verify benefits, and assist with clinic support.

You will greet patients, conduct follow-up calls, collect forms, perform benefit checks, assist with payments, manage inventory, and help with events. 2+ years in healthcare and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Professional verbal and written communication required.
• Strong relationship building with patients and physicians.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude.
• Place outbound calls for follow-up appointments and weekly evaluations.
• Collect intake forms and maintain patient files/notes.
• Perform benefit checks and insurance authorization.
• Assist with patient check-in/out and payments processing.
• Support repairs under supervision of a licensed professional.
• Prepare deposits and submit daily reports to finance.
• Assist with inventory management and supply orders.
• Support event planning and monthly community outreach.
