Job summary

Sonova seeks a Hearing Care Coordinator (HCC) to join AudioNova in Auburn, NY. You’ll work with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care, schedule appointments, verify benefits and assist physicians and patients in the clinic.

You’ll greet patients, place follow‑up calls, collect intake forms, run benefit checks, assist with payments, manage orders and inventory, and support community outreach events monthly. No nights or weekends; 401K with company match and free hearing aids for employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a health care environment preferred.
• Prior experience with hearing aids is a plus.
• Customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a positive, professional attitude.
• Place outbound calls to current and former patients for follow-ups and weekly evaluations.
• Collect patient intake forms and maintain files.
• Complete benefit checks and insurance authorizations.
• Provide first level support, check in/out patients, and process payments.
• Manage inventory and stock, submit supply orders.
• Assist with event planning and community outreach monthly.
