Job summary

Star Pediatrics by Abound Health is seeking a Workforce Operations Manager to join our team in New Jersey. You will lead and optimize workforce deployment across our PDN business, aligning nurse availability with patient needs and driving operational excellence.

Reporting to the VP of Nursing Operations, this role requires a technology-driven leader with strong data analytics and people management skills. Hybrid work across NJ offices is supported through our flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing operational, service delivery, staffing, workforce management, healthcare operations, call center, or similar high-volume teams.
• Strong technology proficiency with experience utilizing CRM, workforce management, scheduling, or operational systems.
• Demonstrated success using data and analytics to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution.
• Must reside in New Jersey and be able to travel regularily between our Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Staffing Coordinators.
• Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing strategies to maximize authorized service utilization and minimize open patient care hours.
• Analyze workforce and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and accountability structures that drive operational excellence.
• Partner closely with Nursing Operations, Talent Acquisition, Clinical Leadership, and Operations teams to ensure staffing needs are met.
• Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, service delivery, and workforce performance.
• Ensure consistent use of workforce management systems, CRM platforms, reporting tools, and operational processes.
