Swisslog Healthcare is seeking a Field Service Technician to support Transport Automation systems in the greater Los Angeles area, including Oxnard, Camarillo and Ventura. You will perform preventive maintenance, on-call emergency service, and start-up activities while working closely with Installation Specialists.

The role requires 1–3 years of electro-mechanical field service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Vocational school or related military experience.
• 1-3 years field service experience with electro-mechanical products.
• Strong communication style to build customer trust and satisfaction.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• PC software and hardware literate; Windows applications experience.
• Basic computer networking skills.
• Self-starter, well organized, able to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Provide scheduled preventive maintenance to contract customers in the assigned area.
• Provide on-demand 24/7 emergency and paid services as required.
• Perform start-up services on Translogic Systems.
• Assist with start-up services on new Swisslog products with Installation Specialists.
• Report quality issues to senior staff and file reports as directed.
• Train customers on system and light maintenance operations.
• Promote parts orders and inventory stocking levels to customers.
• Conduct periodic customer care visits to monitor performance and satisfaction.
• Maintain accountability/inventory of spare parts and customer consignments.
• Assist customers with parts orders, returns and information requests.
• Notify Customer Care Manager of problems or opportunities.
• Ensure all paperwork and logs are properly completed and timely.
