Swisslog Healthcare is seeking a Field Service Technician based in New York City, NY, to support Pharmacy Automation systems across NYC and tri-state areas. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, start-up services, and on-site training, ensuring system reliability and patient safety.

The role requires 1-3 years of electro-mechanical field service experience, strong communication, ability to read schematics, and willingness to travel up to 60% (30-60%).

Qualifications

• Vocational school, related military experience, or job experience equivalent.
• 1-3 years field service experience with electro-mechanical products.
• Effective communication style building customer trust and satisfaction.
• Ability to read blue prints, schematics and wiring diagrams to extract technical information.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• PC software/hardware literate; Windows applications.
• Basic computer networking skills.
• Self-starter, organized, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled preventive maintenance to contract customers in the assigned area.
• Provide on-demand corrective, 24/7 emergency, and paid services as required.
• Provide start-up services on Translogic Systems as assigned.
• Train customers on system and light maintenance operations.
• Report quality issues and file quality reports as directed.
• Promote parts orders and inventory stocking levels to customers.
