Job summary

Swisslog Healthcare is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support 4 sites in the Washington, DC area. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Translogic Systems, start-ups, and on-call service, ensuring system performance and patient safety.

Travel up to 50-70% is required; you must read blueprints, train customers, and maintain spare parts inventories. The role offers a competitive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years field service experience with electro‑mechanical products.
• Vocational school or related military experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read blue prints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled preventive maintenance for contract customers in the assigned area.
• Offer on-demand corrective, 24/7 emergency, and paid services as required.
• Perform start‑up services on Translogic Systems as assigned.
• Train customers on system operation and light maintenance.
• Report quality issues and assist with spare parts recommendations.
