Job summary

Wolters Kluwer Health seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to work with strategic customers and WK teams to turn problems into measurable outcomes, prototype solutions, and provide product feedback.

The role focuses on architecture, integration, and AI-enabled capabilities, operating across clinical workflows while maintaining safety, security, and long-term maintainability. Onsite work is required in many cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or health informatics.
• 7+ years in software engineering or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Production-quality software experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Healthcare technology experience across clinical workflows and health data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Discover and frame outcomes by understanding workflows and success metrics with stakeholders.
• Build, integrate, and validate prototypes using WK Health assets, APIs, and AI capabilities.
• Make field learning reusable by creating APIs, connectors, reference architectures, and templates.
• Navigate responsibly with AI-enabled workflows, governance, and data stewardship.
