Job summary

Wolters Kluwer Health seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with strategic customers and WK teams to uncover high-value problems, build practical solutions, and validate impact in real environments.

You will design, code, and deploy prototypes using WK Health assets, APIs, data, and AI capabilities, while ensuring safety, security, and long-term maintainability in healthcare contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in software engineering or related product technology roles.
• Production-quality software experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Healthcare tech experience across clinical workflows and data platforms.
• Modern software delivery with AI/GenAI, LLMs, RAG, or responsible AI governance.
• Ability to translate problems into requirements and working software.
• Comfort working across product, technology, commercial, clinical, security, and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Discover and frame outcomes by understanding workflows and value.
• Design, code, integrate, test, and deploy prototypes and extensions.
• Apply healthcare integration patterns like HL7 FHIR and CDS Hooks.
• Make field learning reusable by building platform capabilities and templates.
