Job summary

Wolters Kluwer Health is expanding its trusted clinical decision support to outcome-focused solutions. The Forward Deployed Engineer develops scalable, product-embedded software with real customer environments to accelerate adoption of WK Health platforms and to shape reusable patterns.

You will work with executives, clinicians, IT teams, and product to turn problems into measurable outcomes, building prototypes and connecting data, AI, and workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, biomedical informatics, data science, health informatics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in software engineering or related product/tech roles.
• Production-quality software experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Healthcare tech experience across clinical workflows and health data platforms.
• Experience with AI/GenAI, LLMs, RAG, or responsible AI governance.
• Ability to translate problems into requirements, prototypes, and measurable outcomes.
• Comfort working across product, technology, security, clinical, and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Discover and frame outcomes with customers, translating needs into hypotheses and success metrics.
• Design, code, integrate, test, and deploy prototypes and product extensions.
• Apply healthcare integration patterns and AI-enabled workflows with governance.
