Job summary

Adelante Healthcare is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver technology and clinical systems training for staff across the organization. The role focuses on clinical training and systems training to ensure staff proficiency and patient safety.

The specialist assesses skills, recommends ongoing training, and serves as a subject matter expert for systems and clinical skills. Collaboration with managers and coordinators is essential to drive continuous learning and quality

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Dental Assistant.
• Current Coronal Polish and X-Ray Certification for Dental Assistants.
• Prior training, coaching and monitoring experience is required and proven ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication and team building skills required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Organized, able to prioritize and work independently.
• Attends and participates in coordinator team meetings.
• Ability to speak clearly and write legibly.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver complex training programs in classroom, hands-on, and computer-based settings.
• Develop system and clinical curriculum; create teaching materials with evidence-based practices.
• Execute development and revisions of customer service training initiatives.
• Provide Life Support training and renewals to clinical staff.
• Assess trainee performance and give feedback to supervisors.
• Notify management of persistent performance issues requiring enhancement.
• Facilitate external resources to develop new training ideas as needed.
• Work with management to design performance reports for improvements.
• Monitor and evaluate training quality and outcomes of courses.
