Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff at our Madison, WI campus. You will design training materials and scenarios, becoming the first point of contact for staff as they transition to Epic and helping them save lives.

Expect collaboration in teams to shape workflow-based content and to contribute to projects that make our software more intuitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major)
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred
• A history of academic and professional success
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
• COVID-19 vaccination

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users as well as Epic staff
• Design instructional materials and training scenarios for Epic software
• Collaborate with teams to develop workflow-based training content
• Support staff and users during transitions to Epic and improve user experience
• Participate in projects to make Epic software more intuitive
