Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to join our Madison campus and lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users. You will be the first point of contact for staff, guiding them through their transition to Epic to help save lives through effective instruction.

From instructional design to creating training materials and scenarios, you will craft workflow-based content, collaborate with teams, and work with client organizations to deliver impactful training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with a typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users.
• Develop training materials and scenarios and participate in instructional design.
• Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content.
• Work with organizations to develop their training and improve software usability.
• Travel as needed to deliver training and support staff during transitions to Epic.
