Job summary

Merz Therapeutics is seeking a Territory Business Manager to lead sales in a designated California territory. You will build long-term relationships with key hospital customers, develop strategic account plans, and collaborate with Medical Affairs and Managed Markets to drive growth and access for Merz products.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, hospital sales experience, and willingness to travel 40-70% to customers and conferences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales management experience preferred.
• Hospital sales experience preferred.
• “Buy & Bill” injectable experience preferred.
• Proven & documented track record of meeting or exceeding sales management goals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new hospital/healthcare system opportunities to drive growth.
• Build relationships with C-suite, VP-level and regional leaders.
• Promote Merz Therapeutics products through consultative sales in the assigned territory.
• Develop territory/account business plans based on market dynamics and data.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Managed Markets, National Accounts and other teams.
• Navigate access and reimbursement environments within the territory.
