Job summary

Programm ers.io in Minneapolis seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a delivery-focused scrum team in an Agile environment. You will guide technical direction, enable strong software engineering practices, and coordinate with Product, UAT, and performance testing to ensure on-time, high-quality releases.

You should bring a solid development background, 3+ years in technical product owner or analytics roles, and deep knowledge of HL7 FHIR, CMS APIs, and payer workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical product owner or similar role with analytics experience.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent communication, able to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of HL7 FHIR guidelines and healthcare interoperability.
• Experience with CMS 9115 Patient Access API and CMS 0057 interoperability within health insurance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily scrum calls.
• Ensure sprint goals are met with quality deliverables and defect management.
• First escalation point for delivery and quality challenges.
• Develop, coach, and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with architecture for design of new projects and backlog features.
• Collaborate with Product Owner/Product Manager to understand vision and metrics.
• Establish and maintain software engineering practices meeting standards such as Sonar gate 5/9.
• Establish delivery framework ensuring code review and adherence to standards.
• Establish CI/CD with automated quality checks and testing.
