Job summary

Children's of Alabama is seeking an HR Recruiter at their Main Campus Lee Building. The role is full-time on the day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with occasional travel.

You will interview, test, and refer applicants for clerical, technical, clinical, administrative, and management positions across departments. The job requires strong communication, proficiency in Word/Excel, and ability to build candidate pipelines and maintain relationships with agencies and universities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in HR management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years staff-level HR employment experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview and screen applicants for various departments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities, and other sources.
• Represent Children’s of Alabama at job fairs and events.
• Maintain HRIS databases and filing systems.
• Prepare reports and analyze data on recruitment metrics.
• Conduct background checks and reference checks on applicants.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
