Job summary

Journey Nursing Services in Washington state is seeking a Recruiter and HR Assistant to support full-cycle recruitment for caregivers, nurses, and administrative roles. You will build candidate pipelines, post advertisements, source applicants, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews, guiding new hires through onboarding.

This full-time, office-based role collaborates with the People Operations Manager and clinical leadership to meet staffing needs and promote professional development

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum one year of recruiting, Human Resources, healthcare, customer service, or related experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable communicating frequently by telephone, email, and in person.
• Ability to learn EHR, HRIS, applicant tracking, healthcare, and workforce management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment for caregiving, nursing, clinical, and administrative positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop pipelines.
• Create, update, and manage job advertisements across platforms.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, schools, events, and partnerships.
• Screen applicants and conduct initial candidate interviews.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and leadership; maintain timely communication with candidates.
