Job summary

Michigan Medicine is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support Supply Chain IT and enterprise tools. You will handle ServiceNow tickets, support PeopleSoft and GHX, and drive system improvements across clinical and supply chain environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience with ERP and/or EHR data systems, including configuration, testing and successful implementation.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Visio, Access, MS Project) and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Experience developing architectural process flows, flow charts, process maps, standard work instructions, and testing requirements.
• Experience gathering business requirements and writing business cases for technology implementations.
• Experience implementing technological solutions including software interfaces and mobile technologies.
• Demonstrated curiosity and innovation in solving customer problems and improving business processes.
• Knowledge of all phases of the Software Development lifecycle.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including with non-native English speakers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to ServiceNow tickets and provide clients with regular updates.
• Provide IT support for PeopleSoft, GHX, Syft, and other internal applications.
• Investigate and implement solutions to technical issues.
• Identify recurring issues and propose root-cause solutions.
• Assist in routing service requests to the appropriate team.
• Oversee device inventories and deployment of new devices.
• Serve as a point of contact for IT vendor services and ensure access to systems is audited.
• Assist with enrolling new users for Supply Chain mobile apps and troubleshoot issues.
• Escalate and collaborate on network and ERP issues with Tier 3 teams.
• Provide on-call and off-hour support as needed.
• Document system and business requirements using standard templates (flows, scripts, test scenarios).
• Lead projects implementing new technologies or interfaces between clinical and supply chain systems.
• Gather operational requirements and write business cases.
• Deliver system training to staff and customers during implementations or data issues.
• Provide support for other Michigan Medicine hospitals as required.
