Job summary

You will guide buyers, negotiate terms with vendors, and monitor performance. A Bachelor's in Business and certification or eligible within two years are required.

Five to seven years in supply chain/purchasing preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and MMIS experience desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field is required.
• AHRMM or ISM certification required or to be obtained within two years of hire.
• Five to seven years’ experience in Supply Chain/Purchasing is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Experience with the Material Management Information System is preferred.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License held.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Supply Chain purchasing function, ensuring efficient processes and cost containment.
• Evaluate contract utilization for compliance and savings opportunities.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing and performance specs with vendors.
• Provide guidance to buyers to implement purchasing strategies.
• Monitor buyers’ performance and ensure current skills and tools are used.
• Perform Buyer daily activities when needed.
