Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an AA degree preferred. This position offers competitive compensation in the range of $10.70 to $16.09 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous hospital purchasing experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year of general office experience.
• Knowledge involving the acquisition of equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist requisitioners in the procurement of goods and services.
• Identify, research, analyze and resolve purchasing issues.
• Confirm purchase orders with outside vendors.

Skills

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of computer-based inventory systems

Ability to utilize Material Management Information System (MMIS)

Education

High School Graduate or Equivalent

AA Degree preferred
