Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Supervisor - Logistics (HS) to lead the Supply Chain Logistics team and oversee ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies, linens, and equipment across the Health System. The role ensures efficient workflows and timely delivery to support hospital operations.

The supervisor will guide staff, including bargaining unit employees, and collaborate with Procure-to-Pay and Strategic Sourcing to optimize performance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• At least three years of hospital supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of inventory management, distribution, supply chain operations, and staff supervision.
• Strong communication, listening, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Supply Chain Logistics team and oversee ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies, linens, and equipment.
• Develop and maintain efficient processes and workflows for timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
• Provide leadership to staff and foster a productive, customer-focused work environment.
• Build strong partnerships with vendors, Procure-to-Pay, and Strategic Sourcing teams to support operations.
