Job summary

Humana Inc invites MBA and other advanced-degree students to participate in the Summer 2027 Internship Program in Louisville, KY, with roles across multiple strategic areas. Interns contribute to enterprise-level projects, work with executive leaders, and develop leadership, analytics, and strategy skills in a healthcare context.

The 12-week, in-person program runs May 24, 2027 to August 13, 2027. Interns work 40 hours/week, 3–4 days per week in Louisville or select locations; sponsorship is not

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an MBA or another advanced professional degree program with an expected graduation date in spring or summer 2028.
• Available to work full time (40 hours/week) during the internship period May 24, 2027 – August 13, 2027.
• Willingness to work in-person 3–4 days per week in Louisville, KY; Arlington, VA; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Nashville, TN; or New York, NY.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience completed before beginning graduate school.

Responsibilities

• Translate priorities into action through strategic planning and business case development.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts, drive process improvements, and support portfolio execution.
• Engage with executive leaders and participate in enterprise-level initiatives.
