Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in San Francisco is seeking a senior healthcare M&A consultant to lead the full lifecycle of deals, including due diligence, carve-outs and integration planning. You will work with deal teams across finance, HR and IT, develop value hypotheses, interview senior stakeholders, and rapidly analyze data to pinpoint opportunities.

The role emphasizes advanced Excel modeling, financial analysis and cross-functional collaboration, with travel as required and substantial opportunities

Qualifications

• Eight+ years healthcare consulting or healthcare operations experience.
• Experience with M&A transactions, due diligence and integration.
• Advanced Excel modeling and finance operations knowledge.
• Strong communication and ability to present to C-suite and boards.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead clients and internal teams through the full M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, carve-outs and integration execution.
• Develop value hypotheses and interview senior stakeholders to shape strategy.
• Rapidly analyze financial and operational data to identify value levers.
• Support Day 1 planning, operating model definition and transaction execution.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to proposal and pitching documents.
