Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a Staffing & Scheduling Operations Lead to own clinic staffing, schedules, and real-time coverage across multiple locations. You will build scalable processes, analyze trends, and collaborate with regional leaders to align staffing with patient needs.

The role emphasizes quick decision-making, data-driven improvements, and adherence to policies, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in workforce operations, scheduling, or HR operations.
• Strong Excel and data skills; Paycom or similar HRIS/timekeeping is a plus.
• Calm, quick decision‑making under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build, coordinate, and maintain clinic schedules to ensure consistent staffing coverage.
• Audit schedules for compliance with staffing requirements, labor rules, and company policy.
• Partner with clinic and regional leaders to align staffing with patient volumes and clinic needs.
• Manage call-offs, last-minute gaps, and coverage needs as they arise.
• Coordinate float staff, shift swaps, and cross-clinic coverage.
• Communicate staffing changes quickly and clearly to leaders and teams.
• Track attendance, tardiness, and scheduling exceptions across clinics.
• Build reports and dashboards that give leaders visibility into coverage and compliance.
• Flag staffing shortages to Recruiting to help prioritize hiring.
