Midwest Express Clinic seeks a physician to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple locations with clinical collaboration and leadership. You will oversee NP/PA providers, participate in chart reviews, and support quality and regulatory initiatives in Indiana and Illinois.

The role encompasses patient care, clinical leadership, and operations support, with a 4-week schedule and in-clinic shifts plus administrative time. Strong communication and a patient-centered approach are essential.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active unrestricted medical license in Indiana and/or Illinois.
• DEA registration is required; DOT certification preferred.
• Urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Experience supervising or collaborating with other providers is a plus.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered care approach.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care across all ages, with evidence-based urgent care services.
• Deliver clinical leadership and supervisory support for Nurse Practitioners and PAs.
• Coordinate coverage during absences to ensure continuity of care.
• Conduct chart reviews and ensure documentation quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and refine clinical workflows and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with training on urgent care procedures and pre-surgical clearances when needed.
