Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Staffing Scheduler to coordinate and optimize scheduling for healthcare professionals at North Shore Medical Center. You will collaborate with clinicians, staff, and departments to ensure adequate coverage and quality patient care.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience with scheduling software and EMR, and a customer-service mindset in a clinical setting. Work is onsite with night shifts and regular scheduling expectations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Call Center/high volume practice experience preferred.
• Electronic Medical Record Experience preferred.
• 1-2 years required for scheduling, administrative support, receptionist roles, or customer service.
• 2-3 years preferred for related roles.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and manages schedules for healthcare staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
• Serves as the primary contact for staff scheduling issues and inquiries.
• Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, labor laws, and policies.
• Addresses and resolves scheduling conflicts promptly; implements contingency plans.
• Uses scheduling software to manage and optimize staff schedules.
• Provides guidance to staff on scheduling policies and practices.
• Facilitates communication between staff and management on scheduling concerns.
• Maintains accurate records of schedules and hours worked.
