Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s Windham Hospital is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to coordinate, schedule, and oversee staffing for all Patient Care Services units. You will ensure adequate staffing, apply contract language, and partner with PCS leadership to forecast needs.

Responsibilities include monitoring attendance, producing bi-weekly punctuality reports, and ensuring accurate timekeeping and payroll coding in Kronos. A fast-paced hospital setting requires strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of healthcare staffing/timekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be proficient with scheduling and payroll systems and able to interpret contract language.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing for 7 units (240+ employees).
• Schedule and monitor staffing to ensure safe patient care.
• Understand and apply two collective bargaining agreements.
• Use Kronos for scheduling and payroll data accuracy.
