Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure proper staffing of the nursing department. You will maintain employee contacts, support scheduling, and ensure compliance with facility policies while collaborating with the DON and HR.

This role emphasizes organization, accurate recordkeeping, and timely communication to support patient care and staff needs within the facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Associates Degree preferred but not required.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to work independently and make timely decisions.
• Must have knowledge of supply practices and guidelines.
• Must understand English language.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current listing of resident care employee phone numbers and department managers' contacts.
• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars; report to DON with discrepancies.
• Coordinate nursing staff scheduling with HR and DON per policy.
• Prepare required employee records upon hiring, reclassification, and discharge.
• Assist with forms (leave requests, time cards) related to staffing and scheduling.
• Develop monthly nursing schedules ensuring adequate coverage across units.
• Post work sheets, coordinate variances with DON, and address scheduling issues.
• Assist in interviewing STNAs and maintaining certification records for staff.
