The role coordinates staffing with nurse managers, directors, and practice managers, using critical thinking and effective communication to maintain a patient-focused environment.

The position supports staff education, maintains scheduling information, and assists with general department duties.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associates preferred.
• Experience: 1 year patient care or customer service required; 1 year administrative healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) required; medical terminology preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate staffing with nurse managers and department leaders.
• Fill staffing requests from multiple facilities based on highest need.
• Prepare and update master schedules; adjust for census changes and leave coverage.
• Track overtime and ensure correct cost-center charging of work hours.
• Maintain attendance records and commitment tracking; report changes regularly.
• Assist with orientation and training materials for department staff.
• Handle timekeeping, scheduling issues, and after-hours scheduling as needed.
• Provide professional service and improve performance to achieve world-class results.
