Job summary

Riverside Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our Lifelong Health Float Pool in Newport News, VA. The role requires at least 8 shifts per 4 weeks, with two weekend shifts, serving across two Riverside Lifelong Health facilities on the Middle Peninsula. Pays starting at $46/hour with a hiring range of $33-$66/hour.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and deliver resident care under nursing leadership, coordinating with families and staff to ensure quality outcomes across facilities.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year LTC experience (Required)
• 2 years LTC or AL setting experience (Preferred)
• 1 year RN experience (Preferred)
• Virginia RN license required on hire

Responsibilities

• Assign duties to staff according to education and resident needs
• Engage team for optimal performance and quality resident care
• Develop and evaluate resident care plans
• Communicate plan of care to providers, residents and families
• Identify changes in condition with proper documentation
• Follow through for positive resident outcomes
• Use good judgment and specialized nursing skills
• Manage a typical nursing unit
• Respect resident safety, dignity, and privacy and follow facility policies
