Job summary

Riverside Health System in Newport News, VA is seeking a Medsurg Float RN (PRN) to provide comprehensive nursing care across the Medical/Surgical Complex. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients, float to multiple units, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include nursing degree (BSN preferred or ADN), at least 2 years hospital RN experience, and current Virginia RN license with BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Virginia or compact state at hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required at hire.
• 2 years of hospital RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop a care plan across units.
