Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA, seeks a Senior Staffing Coordinator to prepare and maintain staffing schedules for assigned departments, and manage time and attendance for personnel.

You will partner with unit managers and supervisors to adjust staffing needs using predictive analytics and Kronos accuracy oversight. In this role you will support the South Puget Sound Region, apply data-driven protocols to minimize premium pay shifts, and contribute to budget goals while upholding

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent education required or 1 year of related experience
• 1 year of experience with staffing, scheduling and/or timekeeping
• Familiarity with ShiftWise and Kronos preferred
• Basic knowledge of healthcare terminology helpful
• Customer service experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain staffing schedules for assigned departments/units
• Manage time and attendance for department/unit personnel
• Partner with Department/Unit Manager and Administrative Supervisor to adjust staffing needs
• Use predictive staffing analytics to optimize schedules and reduce premium pay shifts
• Provide staffing support for the South Puget Sound Region and ensure Kronos accuracy
• Contribute to budget goals and financial stewardship for Providence Swedish Healthcare
