Job summary

Holyoke Medical Center in Holyoke, MA, seeks an experienced Food Service Production professional to support the Executive Chef, supervise cooks, and ensure timely meal production in a high-volume setting.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with an Associates degree in Culinary Arts preferred, and 4 years’ healthcare kitchen experience. Full-time with varying shifts and competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree – Culinary Arts preferred.
• Four (4) years’ experience in a high volume institutional or healthcare cooking environment.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling, payroll and training.
• Stores food following all safety procedures and maintains serving temperatures.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a service-focused manner.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, utensils and workstation.
