Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions at Mont Marie Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Holyoke, MA seeks a skilled Cook for a high-volume nursing facility. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes, plate dishes, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

You will support the Dietary Manager, manage inventory, assist with purchasing and recipe development, and handle special events. Weekend availability is required, with full-time benefits included as PTO and insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume culinary operations.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes.
• Maintain sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation & culinary excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals following standardized recipes.
• Plating & presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & recipe management: Manage inventory, stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
