Job summary

Epic seeks a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff. You will design training materials and scenarios, and serve as the first contact for staff transitioning to Epic.

You’ll collaborate with teams to create workflow-based content and contribute to projects improving software usability. The role involves travel and on-campus work at our Madison, WI area campus with relocation assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required or preferred.
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days with typical 2–4 day trips.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area is reimbursed.
• COVID-19 vaccination is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses and healthcare staff.
• Design instructional content and training materials for Epic users.
• Collaborate with teams to develop workflow-based training content.
• Guide users through Epic during go-live and ongoing usage.
• Participate in projects to enhance software usability and training effectiveness.
