Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer based near Madison, WI. You will lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users, acting as first contact for staff and guiding their transition to Epic.

Responsibilities include instructional design, developing training materials and scenarios, coordinating with teams to build workflow-based content, and collaborating with client organizations on training projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any major.
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with trips lasting 2–4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, as well as staff.
• Serve as the first point of contact for staff and guide their Epic transition experience.
• Design instructional content and develop training materials and scenarios to be delivered.
• Collaborate with teams to create workflow-based training content and client-specific programs.
• Support projects to improve Epic software usability and training effectiveness.
