Securitas USA in Waterbury is seeking a Supervisor – Healthcare Security Officer to lead evening and overnight Healthcare Security Officers. You will oversee access control, post orders, and shift coverage to maintain a constant security presence.

The role requires prior security supervisory experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. You will coach teammates, respond to incidents, and ensure high-quality service for patients and staff while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior security supervisory experience required.
• At least 18 years of age (or state minimum).
• Ability to pass background checks and screenings.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Availability to work swing hours (evening/overnight), weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Healthcare Security Officers during evening and overnight shifts.
• Oversee access control and ensure post orders and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate daily assignments, breaks and coverage to maintain security presence.
• Monitor site activity and respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
• Conduct incident investigations and complete clear, detailed reports.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to team members.
• Serve as the primary security contact for hospital staff during shifts.
• Ensure high-quality customer service for patients, visitors and staff.
• Support compliance with company and site policies.
