Job summary

Securitas, Inc. seeks a Healthcare Security Officer in Danbury, CT to protect patients, visitors and staff in a healthcare setting.

You will be part of a team that maintains safety, protects people and property, and provides professional, courteous service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to stand and patrol for long periods, and the capacity to work a Thursday–Sunday schedule with early morning hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas of the facility.
• Provide a visible security presence and respond to incidents.
• Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and basic information.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations in a calm, professional manner.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs accurately.
• Support emergency procedures as directed.
• Work closely with healthcare staff to maintain a safe environment.
