Job summary

Emerson Hospital is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead the assigned shift, coordinate plans, and ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer service industry preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare security environment strongly preferred.
• AVADE Certified in Workplace Violence Prevention Levels I, II, and III or obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must demonstrate ability to write and educate officers how to write Security Reports.
• Computer skills required.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise on assigned shift.

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Ensure monthly fire extinguisher checks by Security Officers.
