Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of healthcare safety/security experience preferred but not required.
• Must pass criminal background check prior to employment.
• Maryland Security Guard Card preferred.
• Ability to obtain Maryland Guard Card and maintain good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain personal and asset security by monitoring hazard surveillance rounds.
• Respond to emergency calls, assist with patient restraints as needed.
• Conduct safety screenings for weapons and contraband.
• Prepare written reports and maintain logs of incidents.
• Provide safety escorts and on-campus traffic control as required.
• Readiness to work additional shifts as necessary.
