Nicklaushealth is seeking a Security professional to patrol hospital grounds, monitor entrances, and ensure safety for patients, staff, and visitors. You will respond to emergencies, document incidents, and coordinate with medical staff to support patient care under CPI guidelines.

The role requires compliance with security protocols, including AED checks and incident reporting, with responsibilities spanning from daily patrols to coordinating with construction teams for safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• IAHSS certification preferred.
• Experience in security within a hospital setting is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to attendance policy and ensure proper shift handoffs and patient/staff safety.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, patients, and co-workers.
• Escort visitors, patients, and employees to areas within the hospital grounds as needed.
• Investigate incidents and write incident reports following hospital standards.
• Maintain logs and checklists for security operations (cams, doors, dispatch).
• Patrol and secure main campus buildings and restrict after-hours access as required.
• Report safety and fire hazards observed during patrols and inspections.
• Respond to calls from medical staff and assist per CPI guidelines.
• Respond to alarms and emergency codes within designated timeframes.
• Conduct monthly AED checks and oversee security procedures during construction.
