Pscfl is seeking a Security professional to patrol hospital grounds, enforce access control, and respond to emergencies. You will document incidents, escort staff and visitors, and maintain security systems across main campus and offsite locations.

The role requires CPI and AED certifications, a Florida driver license, and completion of hospital security training within specified timelines. English proficiency is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• AED certification within 30 days of hire
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire
• Valid Florida driver license with clean record
• FL Security D License within 90 days of hire
• Complete NCH Security Training after probation

Responsabilités

• Adhere to attendance and shift coverage policies to ensure patient and staff safety
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers
• Escort visitors and staff to locations within hospital grounds
• Investigate incidents and write narrative reports
• Maintain logs, rings, cameras, doors, and security systems
• Patrol and secure hospital buildings and monitor access after hours
• Respond to alarms and emergency codes promptly
• Support clinical staff during Baker Act holds and related procedures
• Escort and monitor psychiatric patients and secure helipad area
• Conduct monthly AED checks and CPI-based safety interventions
