Aurora Health Care is seeking a Security Officer to provide professional security services across campus, focusing on patient and staff safety. The role involves patrols, incident reporting, and collaboration with hospital departments to ensure a secure and welcoming environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of relevant experience, and completion of required licenses or certifications. A background check and drug screen are mandatory.

Formación

• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• 1 year of security, public safety, or customer-service experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide security services with a customer-service approach in accordance with policies and training.
• Present a professional, approachable appearance to instill confidence with patients and staff.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols, identify hazards, and control traffic on premises.
• Respond to emergencies, investigate incidents, and document findings.
• De-escalate situations using approved techniques and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
• Liaise with departments to promote security awareness and safety across the site.
• Maintain training in safety, EMS, restraints, and use of force equipment.
• Assist with exterior traffic control, parking, and vehicle support.
